Compassion for ourselves, is key.

Over my adult life, I’ve been coming to the realization that being my own Best Friend and learning to thrive in and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend w/ myself is self-work that is worth the many years it has taken to get to this point, and this work will continue for the rest of my life. So I’ve been discovering, having Compassion for Myself, is key, to prioritizing my Divine Self-Care. I don’t wear a cape, I burned it a long time ago. I’m E, an ordinary woman, learning how to face Extraordinary situations like Mental Illnesses (PTSD, Bi-Polar, Depression, and Anxiety) and more, while figuring out how to sustainably thrive, in spite of it all. I hope these resources may be of some help to those who can use it.

Nice For What?! How To Go From Being A Good Girl To A Badass Goddess

As I’ve been on this journey of learning how to sustainably prioritize my Divine Self-Care, and actually doing so, I’m finding I’m becoming better at establishing boundaries. Trying to please others has no appeal to me and seems to contradict my mission to create a Peace of Mind for myself. Recently I read Lady Shepsa Jones book, “Nice For What? How to Go From Being a Good Girl to a Badass Goddess” and the contents of this book has gone a long way in reminding me about the Beautiful Benefits I’m experiencing as I release old thought patterns and learn to Unabashedly Put Myself First.
